We are thrilled to announce that this year's Swiss Meeting for Infectious Disease Dynamics (#SMIDDY2026) will be hosted by the Geneva Disease Dynamics group at the University of Geneva on Thursday 5 November 2026. The Scientific Programme will take place as an all-day in-person event in Geneva.
The aim of SMIDDY is to bring together researchers working on infectious disease dynamics from diverse disciplinary backgrounds and in different regions in and around Switzerland. We hope that the meeting will promote scientific exchange across the domains of human, animal, plant, environmental, and planetary health and encourage interdisciplinary collaboration among researchers in epidemiology, medicine, public health, ecology, engineering, statistics, mathematics, and more.
The Swiss Network for Infectious Disease Dynamics (SNIDDY) organizes SMIDDY every year. Click here to learn more about our organization and sign up for the newsletter!
